"Cartoons" as drawings are not always "funny"!
these drawings (cartoons) are from some work I did for a client, developing a character for illustrations to be placed with the content of his thesis on his website:
First one, ink on illustration board, scanned into Photoshop:
This next one is just a straight "inversion" filter using Photoshop:
for this image I used the filter "diffuse" in Photoshop:
These ones were drawn with Speedball ink and brush, then scanned and filtered with "accented edges" in Photoshop:

Happy New Year 2012
This cartoon is made for our local Galiano Island magazine, so the "prognostications" are "parochial", however, 2012 is supposed to be the Big Year Of The End Of The World As We Know It, so here's my first contribution:
